This squad have shown they can grind out results over recent weeks but there's such a poor amount of quality in there.

None of our players are worrying West Brom, none of them look like they particularly want the ball in the final third. The game is there for West Brom but thankfully they are possibly worse than us.

We don't have anyone in the game that can drive with the ball and shoot, and we are lacking a physical option in the box to compete for headers. West Brom are content with a draw because they are West Brom

Simply put, I think the board is very pleased with Allardyce's results so far, but I think in order to keep the job next season he will have to show his team can boss most games. We can still very much win games like this, but by the end of the season if he wants the job long term hes got to show that he can do more than just grind out 1-0 shaky looking wins against bottom sides.

Really I think moving Davies and Bolaise out of the lineup will make a huge difference, both have been very poor and in one case expected due to injury, in the other expected due to his current season form. I think Lookman could give this defence fits.

We haven't really had an attack worth the name. Couple of crosses by Sigurdsson and Bolasie has looked tricky. We miss Gueye and Rooney hugely.
