However, no manager has lost more Premier League matches on Boxing Day than Allardyce's tally of seven.

I reckon big Sam gets absolutely West Brom'ed every Christmas day too.

2-0 to Everton with two late goals.

We shouldn't lose this, maybe only a point, but I'd like to see Niasse get a run. He deserves to and DCL may need a rest.

PS I thought Kroldrup was perhaps our best player in that Villa loss, so there.

BBC Sport says;

Everton haven't lost away on Boxing Day since 2005 at Aston Villa, winning three and drawing two.

However, no manager has lost more Premier League matches on Boxing Day than Allardyce's tally of seven.

Christmas spirit will ensure West Brom 3 Everton 5.
These are the sort of meaningless statistics that the brainless commentators reel out every game - "team X have never scored a goal in a Boxing day match against team Y since 1927 when Joe Bloggs scored 7 and Fred Johnson added another 3. Could we expect a similar upset this year?" Drink up boys, a win for the Blues is in the stars :pint2:

Interesting point here is that Allardyce doesn’t believe in training his team on Christmas Day - others do. A connection?

I know what you mean mate, but until we as fans change this attitude we will forever be perennial losers, as much as I detest the lot across the park and however deluded they are, they go into every game expecting a victory, come on, we're on a decent runlet's go there tomorrow and smash the Baggies!!!

Yeah i agree. 3 points tomorrow and keep the unbeaten run going
