well in ron, brilliant management to change it with enough time before the half was out. My main gripes with moyes was his reluctance to change anything, literally anything glaringly obvious in his last couple of years. Martinez started off by making inspired changes which changed games before it turned into a bit more predictability - but managers who change things after barely a 3rd of the game gone is what i like to see.

In fairness I'd prefer to see a manager who understands that WBA are full of grocks and start with the right team in the first place.

At least he noticed his snafu though and didn't wait to change it.

Fair play to west brom, their game from the start was correct and rondon has been brilliant seeing as all the rest of their team is in the other half. But the change has changed the game, HT came at a bad time tbh.

As I'm still in the early days of making my mind up here are the positives.

1. Koeman making early change. Shows he has balls to do it.

2. Set piece presence much better

3. When we have a striker we look impressive

4. Great team play to score.

5. Baines.

6. Increases the need for another striker after the fist half hour.

Still way short of expectations, but 1000% better now than before the sub.

Personally I think our D has been a bit shaky. Should have pulled Geri for Heitenga.
