Had a brilliant day getting match updates, then abusing kopite family & they couldn't say anything back. In a suite ordering breakfast after watching motd with the now wife :D happy, happy, happy!!

I cant wait to see my uncle who was giving it large about how great everyone of their players is after they beat arsenal reserves and how 'we couldnt even beat spurs'

This is going to be a massacre

My ratings, for what it's worth

Stek - 7 - Bit weak for their goal but overall really good again.
Holgate - 7 - Looked better at right-back IMO. Played really well. Don't see the need for RB back-up with him in the side.
Jagielka - 7 - Another solid performance from him.
Mori - 6 - Looked dangerous from set-pieces at their end but too often he's too weak in a challenge and dives in recklessly.
McCarthy - 5 - Couldn't get into the game at all though in fairness wouldn't say that was his fault. Just the system didn't work.
Baines - 7 - Looking back to his best, IMO.
Gueye - 7 - His debut didn't look a fluke.
Barry - 8 - Best player on the park yesterday.
Barkley - 6 - Sloppy on the ball at times and missed that sitter. Lovely assist for the goal though.
Mirallas - 8 - Great goal, put in some really good deliveries from set-pieces and the pressing game suits him.
Del - 5 - Not his day.

Bolasie - 6 - Really promising debut. Should really have had two assists.
Lukaku - 6 - Gave us something to hit up top.
Williams - 6 - Made some really good tackles at the end.

Think thats a tad unfair on barkley - he came on a lot in the second half especially as we started to catch them on the counter - played a particularly nice through ball for bolaise to run onto and set up lulaku

Did anyone else notice Koemans celebration? It was like let's go mental, then 5 seconds later, that's enough of that back to arms folded fury, I really like him

I thought the two up front last week worked very well. But against a defensive WBA who are especially stoic when defending a lead, we needed more a of a focal point up front and it was so refreshing to have a manager who is willing to change things when they aren't working no matter what time in the game.

he did mate, just think he was slack at times though compared to the others, and should have scored.

Not a bad performance from him at all mind.

I would agree with this in the main - sloppy for the most part and work rate for me has to improve. Wouldn't do him any harm if he sat out a game.
