He was actually smiling in the post match interview, First time this season. great to see. It's a bit like watching the expressions of flight attendance's when the plane falls 100 feet, If they are still grinning....we gunna be alright

Well that was nice.

The defence were superb today, Holgate MOTM, he looks superb (albeit it's only two games).

Great management from Koeman. Realised early on his starting tactics weren't working, changed it after half an hour Job done.

With the exception of that free kick they had in the the 94th minute, I never thought West Brom were going to score once we took the lead.

Early days but the signs are looking very very promising.

All topped off by the redsh1te losing at Burnley. Hahaha

*cracks open beer*

Great second half....what a difference a decent manager makes.....great to see so many happy blues at the end of a game, there is deffo real hope now

Good win. I called the tactical change to myself as i'm sure a lot of you did and it worked a treat. No defeats but massively need another striker, actually desperately smfh.

Top result that. Chuffed. Could have been more for us, but could also have been more for West Brom before we equalised.

Stekelenburg: 7/10- Kept us in it first half in particular. Great shot stopper.
Baines: 6/10- Not too influential. Needs to come off free-kicks.
Jagielka: 7/10- Could have done better for the goal and needs to start jumping at set pieces, otherwise made some important challenges.
Funes Mori: 5/10- Not impressive.
Holgate: 8/10- Comfortable with him at RB- think he defends better than Coleman. Top match.
Mirallas: 9/10 MOTM- Sublime after the Rom sub in every department.
Barry: 6/10- Not his finest match, lost some balls, but steady enough, and scored.
McCarthy: 3/10- Had his time here I think.
Gana: 8/10- Fantastic. Again.
Barkley: 5/10- Needs a proper rest. Let's see Mirallas there or a new signing.
Deulofeu: 5/10- Not his day. Not his fault that he's been out of position. Hopefully better out on the right next match.

Subs: Rom 6 (Not great but his sub changed things), Williams 6 (Didn't see much), Bolasie 7 (He's gonna link up well with Rom.)

Koeman 8- In hindsight not an effective starting line-up but was ballsy enough to change it up 1st half. How refreshing!

So two games we haven't been at our best. Still some time left to get transfers in- the new signings look great. 4 points from 2 games. Bring on this season!

You give McCarthy a 3 but his substitution was a tactical one to change formation, not because he was having a bad game. McCarthy wasn't any worse than anyone else the formation just wasn't working.

£5 pound for a program and £5 more than the home fans to get in, plus we as usual battered there bar from start to finish due to the dearth of local pubs around there. (went the very good vine myself) result aside they must love us down there

...the early indication to me is that RK has a definite team model and isn't looking to over complicate the game. Sometimes Coaches try and be too clever, RK appears to know the types of player he wants to fit his template. Time will tell but the game is about not conceding and scoring more goals than the opposition.

He looks to be surplus goods. However would be good to keep him around. GarBar was excellent today but he also had a couple "I'm too old for this #$%t moments" and is probably going to need some rest this season.

Was watching your game but turned it off when they went 1-0 up can't stand Pulis. As soon as I seen it was 1-1 I put it back on lol. Fully deserved win for you's controlled the 2nd half and would've been robbed if they got level. The young lad Holgate looks a very good prospect and impressed by the lad you's got from Villa again

Thank the lord above for that.

It has done my nut for years and years that a pretty simple game has been infested by managers/pundits/journos who seem to think that their grasp of of a rotating upside down back to front false #10 is light years ahead of NASA's finest.
