you can never say never about such a thing. 10 or so years ago in the 3rd tier man city fans would have said we will never win the prem

He sounded ok until the very last part of that where he says, 'you need the kind of money that Everton will never get'

I'm not stupid, I realise the current board are a bunch of arseholes and they haven't attracted a buyer for whatever reasons (different thread), but how the fu*k does he know we will never attract money? Bill has to die at some point.

Moyes is better manager than you you French jamcrack.

Arsenal fans were singing after Villa game
"YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING"

*get us some money bill

**now, after i actually watched that clip i gotta say he's partly right, but that never word was just ball busting. lets have them tomorrow, that will be nice

His mistake is using the word "never". What he says could equally apply to his own club. Or Liverpool. I certainly don't have any beef with what he says. There is a context to what he is saying. I can't see us (or ANY club outside of the Barca, RM, Man City or Chelsea axis) attracting a Messi or Ronaldo. Even Man Utd couldn't hold on to Ronaldo. He himself has seen his best players leave regularly to a "top TOP club".

We also didn't get to hear the question he was asked to provoke the response.

Arsed?

People are right touchy about what others say about Everton.

'koff you irish scum. this is our beloved club he's disrespecting. he's saying we'll never be a big club. arsenal are a pretty big club and we may finish above them and yet he has the audacity to say NEVER in the 3 billion or so years that the world could go on for, that we'll never get investement.

YNWA

I agree with him. He's only speaking common sense.

I don't think any of us reasonably expect to realistically challenge for a title anytime in the next 50 years. I support Everton despite the fact I know we're going to be perpetually sh*te.

He may as well say the grass is green in that interview, as that'd be more shocking...

Van Persie gone, Walcott not signing new deal.. in todays press panicking over Wiltshires next contract ? Mmm..
You may have a shiny new ground, but no-one seems to want to hang around these days ?
He has a bit of a point though...
