Blair really the only player we know we went in for was Mouthino the rest could have been jsut media hype that created this monster.

Moyes made the comment about the Love farrago, and being let down badly by the intermediaries involved, Tiago's club admitted agreeing a loan deal for him with us and Monaco (he wanted neither, hence the cubicle incident).

Tx, we were linked with Fellaini during the last window (he even got a couple of kippers*, as did Jacobsen last summer)

I understand what you mean about the way certain individuals put their point across, but in this instance I'd suggest that their demoralised state was probably excusable.

I don't think anyone (ok, except maybe one or two:P) isn't happy that we managed to get Fellaini (personally, I think Castillo and Saha could turn out to be Moyes masterstrokes too, but we'll have to wait and see)

*I know, I'll wash my mouth out

I just think we're on a shitty run of luck. At the moment if we fell in a barrel full of tits we'd come out sucking our thumb.

I reckon our luck is about to turn.

*rubs lucky leprechaun*

...looks like we weren't skint after all and were able to break our transfer record in bringing in Fellani.

Anyone wanna attempt to spin this in a negative fashion? How about "we really don't have any money yadda yadda yadda..."

Let me give you a piece of advice and tell you not to bother. You'll save yourself the embarassment.

I couldn't be bothered to go through and multiquote everyone who was just absolutely adamant we didn't have any funds in this window. You know who you are and suffice it to say, you were dead wrong on this.

...but you had fun moaning about it didn't you?

:@:@
Given the cost of his fee spread oveer 5 years ammounts to what? 3 mill a season

And we spent bugger all on the others yes we really were last of the big spenders yesterday

Never saw the Felliani link on Kipper and Jacobsen from LAST summer?

Uh, ok then.

I just don't recall seeing either of them on Newsnow at any point this summer.

no apology required, it warms the cockles of my heart to see some gloating being done.

heaven knows its justified.

some good old positivity returns...

.. you cant keep a good club down (no matter how hard you try)

:D

Regardless of how this window ended you can guarantee there will be the same comments next time from the merchants of doom whose glasses never fail to be anything but half-empty! :P

By the way, did I mention I was a postman? (that's for you, Reidy (y))

Didnt specifically say Tiago or Love he said things had broken down on deals for a number of reasons.

And a couple of 200 others mate.

Dont care what any one says. If you think that was a productive summer your very deluded. Moyes only got one player he realy wanted. An we spent nothink really. Yes we have improved the squad. But no were as much as we should have done.

We missed the boat big time!!

Yes we did miss the boat. Any new signings should have been done months ago. We left it too late. So late that we nearly missed out on Fallaini. Ok he's a quaility signing but he's not nearly enough to improve the squad that much. I keep asking myself this but where is all the money we should have had ? Kirkby ? I wonder.

Yes but I don't think anyone else knew that.

Sounds like if we hadn't snagged him, someone else would have and soon.

Big money deals like that dont happen overnight. Even Jacobsen said he'd been watched by Everton in quite a few games. No one seen these players coming here and I did say expect the unexpected cos the press know only what clubs tell them and as far as I know Everton have a great way of keeping silent.
