We play attractive football, prices are low yet we cant sell our home games?

We are consistently failing to fill goodison every game. Spurs, arsenal, man united, man city, liverpool and chelsea never have a problem yet we do.

Do we have enough fans to compete with the top 6 clubs? If people dont go someone else does from other clubs but at everton if people stop going you see an empty seat.

Nope. City don't always sell out and neither do Arsenal despite the figures they 'produce'.

Adding to this, about 2,000 seats at Goodison you can hardly see the pitch so that's probably why our average attendance is down by 3,000.

We sell more tickets than Spurs do...

spurs have a waiting list of 20,000.

Its cool to be on a waiting list, and free.

Spurs had people walking round the streets asking if people want to be on the waiting list, and to receive offers by txt and post.

Who says no to that, really !?!?!

Same with anyone who is on a waiting list, its easy to be on one, and I know a few RS and United that have been offered the chance for a ST, and they said no......BUT remain on the list.

It means NOTHING.

The title of this thread is far too provocative for my liking.

We do alright in a relatively poor area. I certainly cant afford every home game.
Its roughly £100 - £150 a month, out of a £1,000 a month salary it's a substantial chunk.

think its a straight mix between social conditions in the area that mean huge chunk people just can't even afford ticket prices, plus its hard if you don't get a season ticket to just turn up cos you got that day free. I don't have a problem with the lack of fair weather supporters, they bring as much instability as they do finances and can take the emphasis away from the team. There are plenty of teams who make a big enough success of the idea that they are strongly linked to the community and attract fans away from the area because of their attitude rather than their profile. Still think we would look more attractive if we gave off the impression we were proud of all that rather than apologetic.

I read something that empty seats this season have cost about £3million in revenue for the club and about £40million over the reign of Moyes
