He clearly bases his man management style on Brian Clough, a bloke that managed quite literally 50 years ago. Speaks volumes for him as a person and his world view that he is so behind the times and thinks that style of management works in this day and age, especially when you carry yourself and speak about yourself like Brian Clough whilst having the CV of Gary Megson to back it up.

One of the weirdest things to me about how people accept his BS is how he acts like he was practically raised by Cloughie, when he was a youth team and later reserve player who Clough binned off to the fourth division pretty much the moment he became a full professional.

Yeh I've never understood that. He's always called a Forest lad but he's not from the area, he never played a senior game for them, and he was only in their system a few years. How does it even count?
