Agreed, what have we become, so desperate we take on a mercenary who is driven by cash and ego. Driven so much by cash that he wanted more even when he was rich beyond the comprehension of most and in possession of the England manager's job. He will have no concerns about failing and taking his £10m other than it will blow his chances of further cash cows. I suspect he may be seeing this as one last managerial role so that may not concern him. He had plenty of offers, only Moshiri's cash brought him back into the game.
