We weren't going to let you come to The Hawthorns and 'mug' us off, we going to be press you, stop you playing your game, and we were going to get the tackles in. Personally, I don't think the referee was that bad although there was one or two contestable free kicks. You had your fair share of decisions which I thought were slightly bemusing, as did we.

As for Yacob. He was very good again, as he was against Tottenham and Liverpool. Sets the tempo, makes the game look easy and also wins his fair share of tackles. I think you could of clattered him and he'd have got back up and got ready for the battle. That's how he is.

Mate there was a clear penalty on Jelavic in the first half, and Yacob's dictating tempo with awful tackling. Even he didn't believe this wasn't a penalty, as the replays showed there.

Nah deffo no pen for me. The ref was a complete troglodite, though. Fellaini got booked for persistent fouling with less fouls than Yacob.

yea wasn't a pen for me either, but Yacob was a [Poor language removed] the whole game.

I couldn't believe the one foul on naismith by yacob, he shirt pulled him and tackled him on the ground right in front of the ****ing linesman, who was looking over at the ball and somehow missed the whole thing.

we can't blame the ref for this loss, but our players definitely did get rattled by the bad decisions. its hard for them to play on the same yellow when half of them were on yellows. oh well, i had said i would take a point from them, disappointed we didn't get it but its not the end of the world.

nothing wrong with some hefty challenges it's what's missing from the game these days midfield hard men are a dying breed. I wish more games had some clattering challenges stop some of these diving poofs falling over for nothing.

That ref was terrible. Pienaar was bought down on the edge of the box he didn't give it. We have an counter attack and he blow it back to see if Osman was alright in our own half after tackling. That ref gave us absolutely nothing.

Fair play to Mulumbu and Yacob for showing good CDM play, but i have to admit it was grating me badly how they got away with everything. We did not get away with any of our passing either though, thought it was bad how often we ran out of options and just went for the hoof. Didn't succeed nearly as much with out passing.

This was the worst game for Everton for a long long time. Most of our players were asleep.
