Current form suggests: 1 City (obviously) 2 United 3 YKW 4 Spurs 5 Chelsea 6 Arsenal

7 Leicester
8 Everton
9 Burnley ? - though slipping

the rest could be almost any order.. I will hazard a guess

10 West Ham
11 Palace
12 Bournemouth

perm any 3 from 8 to go down

13 Swansea
14 West Brom
15 Stoke
16 Southampton
17 Newcastle
18 Watford
19 Huddersfield
20 Brighton

Personally I am praying that the barcodes go down

True Geordie is as funny as a hernia in your left plum!

No. He hasn’t even done particularly well results wise.
Looking at PL results.

Koeman had 9 games and got 8 points.
After Allardyces first 9 games, he had 9 points.
(Unsy got 7 points from 5)

Koeman had to play Chelsea, city, united away. Arsenal and spurs at home. (Got a point vs city, only team to do so for a long time).

Allardyce has had Spurs and Liverpool away. United and Chelsea at home. (Got a point vs Chelsea and liverpool)

He has also played 2 promoted teams, the bottom team Swansea, and lost to Bournemouth who Koeman Beat.

He only looks good cause he got 4 points from last two games making 13 points from 11 matches. He hasn’t done anything special or saved us. Just continued the dross.

Edit, I’m not advocating Koeman, he was awful, but just want some perspective seen about Allardyce and what he has actually done for us.

Allardyce had 12 points from his first 9. (16 from his 11 games)

that’s a 50% increase on Koemans return.

Would be absolutely made up if it was Newcastle, Stoke and West Ham, but think it'll be Brighton, Huddersfield and Southampton myself.

Think we'll finish 7th.

Fact remains, we keep playing 4-2-3-1 and it doesn't work for us. We need to change the system, and if we are determined to play this system we need a left back who can get up and down the pitch, a more mobile midfielder in front of the back four, and a left sided forward. Sicne the transfer window is now shut and we can't get those players, we will limp through the season and finish about 13th.

Does a team in the top 6 not have to both with the FA Cup & Europa League (so Arsenal) for 7th to qualify for europe?

Competing in Europe every year should be the norm. This squad is good enough to get one of them spot.

This to be honest, if you want to compete with them you need to be able to handle europe

For what its worth i think we have been absolutely done over by the draw, Lyon have only lost twice this season and jsut recently beaten PSG, and Atlanta would give anyone a game with there aggressive play, i think they knocked Napoli out of the coppa italia and beaten Juve this season, copare that to arsenal who got bottom of the bundelsiga Koln, Belarusian Bate Borisov & a team ive never heard of, we could of got through arsenals group with our team that played our last group game.

You could say the same for all our "draws" this season, Liverpool away in the FA Cup, and Chelsea away in the league cup after getting a little restbite with a home tie v sunderland in previous round, it dosent bode to well for our confidence.

Throw into that a begining to a league campaign that involved city, man u & chelsea away and spurs home in our opening 5 fixtures - (add arsenal as our 8th game and thats 5 of the top 6 in our opening 8). In comparison Leicesters opening 13 games in the year they won the league were sunderland, west ham, spurs (drew), bournemouth, villa, stoke, arsenal (lost), norwich, southampton, palace, west brom, watford, newcastle - now that would build a hell of a lot of momentum!!!!

I feel with a luckier draw in the comps (im not calling that its a conspiracy or anything), it would of been interesting to of seen if something different could of happened

So say City win the league cuo that takes it to 6th? And if two top 6 teams play each other in the FA cup does that move it to 7th?

Yes, which is what happened last season

EDIT - although it would just mean that one of the top 6 had to win The FA Cup as the runners up don't get a place anymore

I think if the right players are played in the right positions and we get Baines back 4/2/3/1 will work.
We need to stop conceding silly goals hence the need for 2 DM
I’m not saying Baines will have the same impact as Coleman but the difference an overlapping full back made on weds was frightening

Interesting to see how the Mahrez situation affects Leicester.
As to the top 4 the resumption of the CL will affect some clubs more than others
I don’t think the RS and Spurs have the same depth in strength as City United and Chelsea
