The few of us that were talking about relegation koeman left were rubbished as being pre maturely jumping gun. It's only october, plenty of the season left to play for etc even unsworth can do a job for us.
A month later and it's getting worse. No manager, clearly board issues , no actual communication for the fans, the defence is as bad as I have ever seen it. Maryinez defenders always conceded and I thought that was bad, unsworth defenders seems to guarantee 2 goals which is suicidal. We are essentially the worst most have us have ever seen which is some accomplishment considering previous examples.
There isn't a way out of it. Right now we are relegated as far as I am concerned. There is no fight, no heart , nothing that suggests a single player can has a dog of war attitude and get performances from the rest. Most importantly , we haven't got a captain on the pitch.
How do we change it? We hire a manager with a philosophy and a way of doing things and we back him to the hilt. Every single player who doesn't 100% commit to it goes, no exceptions. What we NEED to do is have players who are playing for more than just a job , like we used to. A team, a unit, who will fight for each other. If that philosophy doesn't keep us up then so be it, that's the result of being a crap board and you salvage us and we go for it again.
I don't believe we will go down but it's looking less likely as each week passes that the board have any idea of how to fix their mistake. Because ultimately, by throwing money at Silva and Watford it not only take a time we shouldn't be squandering away right now but essentially to convince a manager to leave a ckub who his way of playing has them in a good season to move to a fire fight job first and foremost, their main motivation is money and that could well end up being the final nail in the clubs coffin this season
