Ways to forget ex gf?

I'm gonna assume you're a young lad and this was probs your first proper girlfriend, I think a lot of young people fall into a trap thinking that once they're in a relationship that they're sorted now, they don't have anything to worry about. The reality is, people can grow apart or realise they're no longer a good fit, that can happen after a month, a year, five years etc... hell people even have kids together before they realise. Always worth keeping in mind in future because it can help you know you're with someone because you're happy and not because you don't wanna be alone.

Just another thing, regardless of who ended things, it's probably worth some self-reflection once you're at a point were you can not be consumed by grief when thinking about it. Always things to learn for any potential future relationship.

Anyways I'm no expert mate just a few things I've picked up along the way, best of luck lid, better days are coming.

At this time, after reviewing this thread, I decided we could use a review of some basic information. Mind you, these are gun-toting American opinions, but I personally believe they have some validity. When you hear this man's credentials (particularly the second part) you will listen. At about five minutes, your head will be nodding up and down.

At some point you're going to "get back out there" and these are factors you need to keep in mind whether you are in your twenties or your seventies.

Professor?

time and perspective are important

when you were with this girl Everton were garbage.

she's gone now but Everton are fkn boss these days mate

first lifestyle change to make is to set your ringtone to spirit of the blues

you forget her by concentrating on you....exercise and diet to improve your health and appearance. in a month or so get out there like a new butterfly and you'll soon be getting attention from the next girl

Shame even if a girl does like him she cant go anywhere near him lol

Exercise. Whenever you get that pain like a dagger in the heart and the feeling sick in the stomach the second you wake up in the morning then go for a run. A long one. You will be absolutely amazed just how better you feel when you have finished. The pain and sickness will be gone for a while. I'm not joking. Just try it. I promise you that you will feel much better.

Wear sandals with socks, a zip up sweater, short shorts, get a pipe, build yourself a trainset in the loft with full on diorama.

Tie a tiny 00 gauge model of the ex to the rails. Switch on. Walk away.

No need to thank me.

See that is good but it sort of says he wants to kill her. If you make the slight change to that by building yourself a nice scenic bridge over a straight piece of track and have an intercity coming at full pelt, you can enact a touching scene where the ex knows she will never find another man like him and apologises for sleeping with his best friends and dad before jumping in front of the train. Demon exorcised.

Hopefully hes not overweight or the pain of a dagger in the heart might get even worse
