Thanks for a decent season Wayne and at least he was one of the few who has showed anything close to ok form at times. You knew he’d bang that pen at Anfield after missing the others as well.

Was great to see him back in Royal Blue and I personally didn't think he did too badly this season all in all

I wish him all the best, and just wish we could have had him back when he was a bit younger

Three months ago he said in an interview with Carragher that he wanted to stay at Everton in a coaching role....he wanted to be involved. Talk is cheap....apart from when the greenbacks come a calling, hey. Fancy dragging your young kids the other side of the world for one ego trip last hurrah. Those substitutions must really have hit home. Easy to say goodbye to him....its not as if it hasnt happened before.
