Honestly Tin-Tin, he really isn't. Like, I'd say leaking goals and not scoring any is slightly more drastic, and given he's got more than anyone else I reckon I'm not wrong.

Our overall attacking statistics are disgracefully poor. Look at the big picture. Rooney is killing us.

He's a major problem in that we can't counter attacking with any effectiveness with him. And he's a major problem in giving it away cheaply especially through square balls, and it's leaving us wide open on the counter. There's numerous issues but Rooney is the biggest.

Added to him roaming around where he wants.

What is it you think Glyfi does? Sits on the bench until we have a free kick/corner then gets subbed on like some American football offence type thing.

Of course thats what he does and his passes tend to find a player in the same colour shirt. Granted he hast started well but he needs a chance.

He floats about outside the box. It's well known from open play he's not active enough, doesn't get on the ball enough. He's not one who picks up the ball and controls or influences a game.

Rooney tries to do this because we don't have it.

Behave. Suarez was the reason they almost won the league, if you remember Gerrard slipped which cost them the title.

And not the defending? That was 1 game. They'd already lost it at Palace the week before.

End of the day, Gerrard wasn't the problem for them.

Don’t want to see him start again this season. He should be an impact sub at best. All he does is give the ball away and take 4 touches to do so. At least when Barkley did this he was going forwards with the ball.

Gerrard played football for a couple of season too long, most Liverpool fans will say the same. Lets just agree to disagree.

Rooney just run round like a headless chicken today. So he is always out of position and trying to catch his breath. There must be better options to start with.

If he has to get a game every week I'd rather him play the Paul Scholes role he used to play to good effect occasionally for Utd, he hasn't got the stamina or pace of a striker these days but he can still spread the ball about well.

This is literally how he was at United. Just gets in the way constantly. If he's not obstructing the play he's screaming into the Ref's face.

He needs to be dropped.

I can't quite understand this clamour to defend him at all costs. He's been dire. Utterly dire. He's destroying our style and whole style of play. It's so very very SLLOOOOWWWW
