I mean, fair play for the tackle, but look five seconds on once he's realised there is no gas left in the tank. It was sink (get tackled) or swim (hoof it up field). Their goalkeeper dun goofed and luckily for Wayne it led to a golazo and everybody thinks it was some inspirational moment of genius.

Consider the circumstances too, he plays for a last place team and that was a meaningless game. Phenomenal effort for someone who's accomplished so much.
