So. Let me get this right. In a game thats 1-1 in the 90th minute. A manager makes a call to bring someone off he feels is the weaker part of the team. His feeling that hes the weakest. Not mine or yours. His. Does he go hold on a sec. I brought him on as a sub. Im going to take off a player i feel is doing more because he didnt come on as a sub.
It was the managers decision but i'm allowed to have a opinion, just cos it's Big Duncs decision doesn't mean we have to all agree with it. I'll be surprised if he is even on the bench on Wednesday and if he isn't I think it's most likely the end of his time at Everton, I hope not but we will see.

Thats fair. Im not saying people cant have an opinion on it. But i have an issue with people who think it was an ego thing. Ferguson still looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights on the touchline. And why wouldnt he. Spotlight is on him now as manager not coach.
Its a huge storm in a tea cup for me.

I don't think it's a ego thing myself, I just think it's a case of mismanagement but who knows, Kean could've stayed on and cost us a goal.

Dave, the players he had to choose from yesterday were not our most exciting or skilful.

Holgate was nevertheless unrecognisable from the demotivated performance against Leicester, and Bambi seems to have grown antlers!

In the ladt two games Dunc has managed to take a sow's ear and turn it into a solid leather wallet that was fit for purpose....the silk purse can come later.
...not from him it wont.

Bottom line is that Ferguson panicked. He saw a well-earned point potentially slipping away after he'd made a poor substitution. So he changed it.
What perturbed me more was that when Kean come on to the pitch he stationed himself on the left wing, only for Richarlison to tell him to play central. That was very odd.

I'm chalking this down to him just not really knowing what he was supposed to do, and Ferguson just going with a willing runner in Niasse.

Mad how when guardiola hauled Henry off at Barca for not following instructions he was lauded as a ruthless, tactical genius devoted to winning games,
Dunc does it and he's a nasty idiot....
If it can be done to a world cup winning, multiple trophy lifting world class striker, then it can certainly be done to a 19 year old kid still adapting to the league

If only his name was Dunca Ferguso.

Some mad comments on here. A player that nobody was surprised to see on the bench gets told to go on and do a job to bring home a point that the starting 11 have battled brilliantly to bring within sight. He doesn’t deliver and puts the draw at risk. He got his chance in a big game and let his manager down. Snowflake sulks when hooked. Hope Dunc told him his fortune today !

Ferguson was perceived to have needlessly humiliated the young striker, especially after not even acknowledging him as he walked off the pitch, but on the Totally Football Show this week Michael Cox said Ferguson might have been right to make what looked like a harsh decision.

“I was speaking to someone who was there and he was saying Ferguson was constantly shouting at Kean to do something, and Kean was just ignoring his instructions and drifting into different positions,” he said.
