i agree that hibbert is one of the best tacklers at the club. he put in a m.o.m display away to arsenal.

a local lad as well.

i also don't see how vaughn qualifies as a success yet. a fooked knee, dislocated shoulder, ruptured artery... all before he has turned 20. he will be lucky to stay injury free for a season after putting his body through all that.

Some bizarre ones there, Hibbert is the best in terms of defending at the club yet your happy with the god awful neville. Your happy with a sicknote in vaughan who cant play 2 games without getting injured yet your unhappy with a guy who scored 5 goals last yr

:lol::lol:

You are such an idiot.

We need serious numbers in this squad. As well as top players to make us better. But how much do we have? Im starting to think this will be a very disapointing summer. I really hope not!

hang on peoples!

Dont get your knickers in a knot.

Italic means they have been injured alot and had no real impact last season on the team, have been in and out of the first eleven, or are yet to crack it. I went off the OS First team.

I was going to do a legend but was too knackered last night.

(n) Means I dont rate them and should be gotten rid. Sorry but I have never been a Hibbo supporter. I dont think he is any good. In fact, I would go so far as to say apart from Heart, Hibbo is the worst player on our team. You only have to look at the left backs to realise even an injured 3rd choice Valente is a better player. Id rate any of the other defenders as better tacklers. When we get eve a half decent right back youll all wonder how we had Hibbo in the side for so long.

 Means not sure. They could be anything yet.

:( Means they arent too good, but they arent supercrap. Like Hibbo. Theres better in the team but maybe theyre injured or partying or something.

:) Means they do their job. They are competant. They rock up and do an solid shift. Sometimes they suck, but 90% of the time they are good squaddies. Maybe there should be a  but I thought it just looked abit shocked, like WTF are they in the team for.

:D Means their auto first team. They excel at their position. They provide sparks of brilliance, and do stuff. Do good stuff. Alot.

My ratings system isnt the be all and end all you touchy jimmies. If you think Hibbo is a :D then tell the forum why! Dont just go 'oh i cant believe you put such and such in the (n) catagory when quite clearly he's :D'

Rate them yourself and maybe well come to some form of  for said such and such.

Now. Nice discussions please.

Not disputing his injury record, but when he has played he's looked top class and always seems to score, and thats with his current problems.

If he can put those behind him he'll be one of the best in the league.

Looking back id probaly up Anichebe to  because he score a few in europe and only because of this.

If he doesnt do anything this year hes getting a (n)

hang on macca! tony hibbert is no way 'super crap!'.

he is one of the best tacklers in the squad and imo that is important if you are a defender. he attacking limitation is usually compensated for when we play a 5 man midfield, which might happen if we bring in 2 quality midfielders.

think of the tactics we might employ and how he brings positives to the team. (y)

Oi less of it Teppic or you'll be seeing red! ycard

(sorry I didn't mean anything by it I'm liking the new emoticons :D)

Hibbo is decent, but definitely needs replacing sooner rather then later. preferably by someone with a bit of attacking nous.

Yeah I'd certainly agree with that. His tackling has always been top notch, dont see many full backs make a more perfectly timed sliding tackle than him. Clearly he's not attack minded, but he's more a full-back of the old type.
