Second half grind was made for him. Him and Grealish up against Mbeumo and Diallo, don't dive in, just concentrate, defend properly.

Deserves praise, uses the ball like he's some great solid mass smashing through an asteroid belt, shrapnel everywhere, but when it comes to the crunch he gets a foot or a block or a challenge in often last ditch last moment and comes out ok.
Down to ten, away at OT, get the win and clean sheet? That'll do nicely.

One of my fave moments yesterday was when he launched a throw in straight to their defender nowhere near our players, it came back at him, and he did exactly what you just said.

There was a dangerous cross late on behind our defence, which he attacked with his right foot. We’ve conceded goals before because he’s been reluctant to do that, so that was good to see.
