Tbh I never wanted Digne sold, unlike others on the forum. We are where we are though with Moyes and the club. He's a solid, unspectacular player, who is nearly always fit and can defend to a decent standard most games.

Not sure why we have given him a long term deal, but I hope he's a back up for a better LB next season.

As for Van Dijk, I'd like him nowhere Everton. His arrogance and ego wouldn't work here and he's a shadow of his former self.

….the focus is on him is his lack of threat in the attacking third but I think key to a future LB signing is Branthwaite. Branthwaite’s ability to cover the LB channel means it’s a waste not to have a LB who can exploit what’s ahead of him and link effectively with our left sided attacker.

Saying that, whilst I’m not a fan of Mykolenko, I do think the outcry to his new contract is a bit like most things on here these last few months, way OTT.

The key to Branthwaite is Branthwaite...can he stay healthy long enough AND if he does, he will be out the door if he has any ambition.
