If playing in the last African Nations and recently captaining Nigeria to Olympic silver isn't enough to convince the Home Office or whoever makes the decision that he's worthy of a permit, I don't know what is...

Hopefully he's got that Italian passport so things can move along quicker anyways.

Daily Mail said he dont need a work permit because of the Itaie passport and will be able to join up with the team ASAP. Done deal.

"Obinna does not need a work permit as he holds an Italian passport. Everton boss David Moyes is finally starting to land targets after a summer of frustration in the transfer market."

Said we're challanging Pompy for Thiago Motta (bought him on Footy Manager last month on a bos, thought you might like to know that lol)

I hope to see Moutinho over the horizon!!!!

He's only lived in Italy for three years, to gain a passport you need to have spent 5 years in a country.

I think he'll need one and I think it will be rejected. He's not a regular for his country either which goes against him.

Liverpool recently had Leto rejected. They've had to loan him to a Spanish club. Saying that though Anderson got one for Man utd.

Maybe we can get Sir Alex to sign the paperwork to ensure success.

Obinna might be used on the wing, I had a look at some of the Inter forum's and they say he's similar to Kalou at Chelsea, a wing forward so to speak. In the Olympics he played as a striker but he's capable out there according them, the more options we have the better.

Having him on the wing, Vaughan and Yak upfront and Ossie in the middle would definatly benefit the team whilst Pienaar is out.

Hes lightening quick. Quicker than AJ so he could be used on the wing

Victor 2

Hey, we've got 2 Victor's !! Could be a problem on the pitch :dodgy:

Obinna seems to be a very promising player, very strong with defenders on his back and seems to have an eye for goals. He can also play on the left wing as well.

With Yak, Victor I & II and James we should be covered up front. And with Castillo replacing Carsley, we are starting to look like a club goin' for top 4. Just 1-2 more midfielders pls. (cover for Cahill and Arteta)
