That is the most embarassing moment of my life supporting Everton :( Can someone delete that pic from the interweb please.

The reds call us bitter and reading some of these threads recently we sure are living up to it, very embarrassing really.

Haha yeah it was tongue in cheek, it's quite a pointless game. Personally though at that point I'll take any match I can watch after a long summer without any decent football on, so I usually enjoy it.

True, surely it just empathises how mediocre we were before Moyes turned up though.

Now we're sixth. On this trajectory we'll win the league in fifty years (I just made that figure up, I couldn't be arsed doing the maths.)

...I'll be content if Man Utd win the Charity Shield, Champions League and Premiership next season. My main concern, however, is that we get the right man in place and at least maintain the status quo.

He joined in 2002, so that would take us to 1992, im interested to hear what we won apart from the FA Cup in 95.

Please, please, dont say the Charity Shield, PLEASE.

Hmmm interesting. Since when exactly were we above winning trophies? In the 80s when Wembley was our second home nobody complained as we were building our legacy.

You would rather a pre season away to Preston perhaps than compete in the season's curtain-raiser?
