It was interesting to compare the two young lads last night and how they played together. The one thing that struck me more than anything was the difference in composure. I never thought I'd say this but Anichebe showed some nice awareness on the ball last night and seemed to know when to play others in. Vaughan on the other hand was a bit of a headless chicken, trying to do things on his own.
I think the lad has tremendous natural ability but needs to contain his enthusiasm. If he can do that he'll cut out the kamakaze nature of his tackling and hopefully show greater awareness of others around him. It's perhaps telling that Anichebe has more of this side to his game having played more in Europe last season. Hopefully we'll get past Liege in Belgium and the exposure will allow Vaughan to develop mentally too.

. I just want them to play together, i think they do it well, seeing as they have played together for years. Just look at when they did against Portsmouth (3-0) - great partnership.
