On the one hand it seemed sorted on the field, but on the other hand.

1. Not applying the rules properly sets a bad precedent.
2. A goal was scored, which does affect the table, though obviously in a somewhat minor way.

It seems silly, but they have to bring it back.
Minor way? Liverpool would be 7th if it had counted. You get that? SEVENTH!

Are you telling that if Branthweight was coming back to clear a ball off the line and an opposition attacker hauled him back preventing the clearance you wouldn't be calling for a red?

Let's say for arguments sake that Sbozlai was always getting there first and Halaand was the only one who did any pulling. Then that's a free kick to Liverpool and a yellow for Halaand, at that point it's just a cynical/professional foul.

Sbozlai is denying a certain goal and has to be shown a red if his actions prevent the goal.

I think of it like the grace defenders get for clearing out their man after they get their shot off, even if the keeper saves or they miss.
