I guess the next questions then are does Usmanov intend to continue to support us financially indirectly, and if so, the means that this can be achieved without falling foul of the authorities, or, does he at some point intend to divest of his Arsenal holding and fully get onboard the good ship Everton.
The latter scenario then begs the question of how difficult it would be to sell his Arsenal shares and who would buy them, not to mention the internal politics/rivalry with Kroenke.
I think it's best to see the benefits of what has already come out of the Moshiri-Usmanov relationship in our favour, and just hope that they are thinking several moves ahead.
I don't see it as feasible that Usmanov will want to ascend Moshiri at Everton in the medium-term, if at all, but we have concrete evidence now that at the very least, he wants to support the venture in other ways. The extent of that support and where it may take us are the big questions to ponder.
I find it very re-assuring that these men have obviously come together to execute a plan that delivers a big increase in commercial revenue for us, however convenient the FF sponsorship and getting around the rules may have been.
It may be the delivery of the new stadium that might eventually see Usmanov take over at Everton, who knows? I just hope in the next few years that Moshiri can co-ordinate things and reinforce many of his business relationships and partnerships into tangible investment into Everton. We are going to need every penny playing catch-up to the extent that we are.

Is it? Not doubting you, but have we actually had any detail on that? Or is this from sources? If both are for 5 years and total value is 75m, you'd have to think that the FF deal is maybe 3m a year and the shirts maybe 12m? Possibly 2m/13m, something like that anyway. Been busy last 24hrs so haven't read most of the reports.
I remember Esk saying he thought it was unlikely this would happen. This was as much because it would be bureaucratically very difficult to do with the current rules, as opposed to any lack of potential interest. On twitter he has again suggested his surprise and Kroenke anger at this.
What this says to me, is that Usmanov may well have called the bluff of both the FA's rules and Kroenke himself. Almost an opening shot, showing he is happy to put money towards a rival competitor, to see what his next move may be. If Kroenke was holding him hostage by not buying his shares that now looks futile. I would imagine Kroenke may now seriously consider making an offer to buy Usmanov out, as he will come in for some flak if an ex Arsenal Shareholder and a current sizeable shareholder are pumping money into Everton.
If he is out of the Arsenal Contract I think he would get involved quite quickly. Failing that he will have a goal, I imagine to be come on board for the Stadium build. He also has enough murky dealings and Andrew Sochi to be able to help funnel funds to Everton. In all honesty it makes no sense to do this to a rival competitor unless you have a much bigger long term plan to be part of the success of that business.
My own view is the long term plan is as Moshiri suggested, to be like the Arsenal of the North. IE to be a worldwide brand, that is in the top 2 turnover in this country and spending in the top 10 clubs in Europe, but also not losing site of our roots to the degree Chelsea and City did.

Your split sounds sensible. I think the current Chang deal was for up to 16 million or so, so we probably are going to be a bit short of the max on that, so I'd guess the FF deal is closer to 4 million than 3, but that level of detail doesn't really matter.
I sense few will share this viewpoint.
