Yes because of the links with the owner. Usmanov has 'no connection' to Everton so its probably best that it stays that way if we want his money without being dragged into legal battles.

That's the entire point of the relationship. He can pump money in and put his brand everywhere without issue if Everton is clever about it. He doesn't have to own us.
