When does Usmanov's investor visa to the UK expire?
They're only granted for 3 years and 4 months and he can expect the same scrutiny Abramovitch was subjected to while trying to renew his. Abramovitch's refusal to answer searching source of wealth questions has seen his visa expire, relocation to Israel, and he's quickly pulled the plug on pumping money into Chelsea which means no new stadium for them and a drift back to being a mid table club within a few years.
It should create an opportunity for us to overtake them eventually if Brands succeeds however though I've seen no evidence Usmanov is officially coming on board at EFC, he's almost certainly bankrolling Moshiri (the BBC has publically claimed that and not been sued) so we can only hope he doesn't suffer the same fate as Abramovitch.
You serious, if that happened abramovich would lose a ton of money.
It's in his interest to keep them competitive so the value of the club remains high.

He pulled out of the stadium because it doesn't make sense to pay so much adding 19000 seats for 1billion

I’m fairly certain that he’s got British citizenship

I doubt that as he is always referred to as Russian even though born in Uzbekistan. I expect him to have the same visa problems as Abramovitch. Four members of the U.S. Senate wanted Usmanov added to the oligarch sanctions list.

I think you’ll find he’s got UK citizenship mate, but has never publicised it. The question has been asked in Parliament and not answered due to data protection.

I was aware of the 2007 question in the House of Lords which was around the time of the Guardian requesting two reports about Usmanov.

The more recent written question, asked in the Commons on the sixth of this month and answered on the thirteenth of the month, was about the visa status of Usmanov and others, and unanswered for data protection reasons. However, the MP who asked the question, the Rt Hon Sir Mike Penning, was formerly, and recently, Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence, Minister of State at the Home Office and Minister of State at the Ministry of Justice, so he would already have known whether or not Usmanov was a citizen, would have known very well about data protection, and was asking a friendly strategic question to the minister to allow her to demonstrate that the visa status of Russian oligarchs, including Usmanov, was still under consideration. I think he's not a UK citizen.

Why would he lose tons of cash?

CFC is valued circa £1.5Billion. Probably not far from the cash he has provided.
