Why would he buy us when he could benefit from owning stakes in both Everton and Arsenal.

Im of the opinion Moshiri uses USM money to fund EFC and Usmanov benefits through de facto ownership of EFC whilst still holding a big stake in a world power club.

Why own 1 club in the richest league when you can own 2?

It’s against the rules can’t have a controlling stake in a more than one clubs of I think it’s 12.5% in the same competition UEFA has similar rules

That’s what Brands has been brought in for. To make sure the decisions being made are the right ones.

This guy seems to be at the top of his profession.

A top super agent is on board.

One of the richest men in the world is rumoured to be backing our billionaire major shareholder, with further rumours that he may become officially involved in the near future.

All we need now is a good manager who can get the team playing attractive winning football.

What’s not to like.

There isn't a chance of him officially moving to Everton ahead of the potential stadium move. There's no way that we would be allowed to loan 500 million pound from the council if a Russian oligarch was our owner.

Interesting theory. Moshiri is worth around £1.5b. That includes assets he owns, so his actual working capital or cash reserves is probably only a few 100m if even that.
Usmanov on the other hand.... worth about £15billion. He could build us a stadium in Stanley Park that would have Anfield in eternal darkness! lol

Usmanov and his billions would certainly explain why we have suddenly become the club that can hire and fire managers at will , losing millions on each of them without an apparent worry in the world.

I don't think Moshiri on his own could afford or condone what would appear to be almost reckless spending.
