If the answer was an unequivocal NO I'm not selling and I'm keeping my stake ad infinitum, then he wouldn't have thrown in the line about potentially selling to a 3rd party. Let's be right he doesn't want to sell to Kroenke, why would he? So if he can offload his stake to a 3rd party who might be capable of winding the job up further for the Sherman then it's job done.
