I wonder if within the next four years this will be relevant to us?

I don't think Kroenke will sell anyhow. But especially not to George from fonejacker...

'I would like to buy Arsenal please, I will give you 2 goats and all the Quality Street I have in my pocket at the moment. If you can wire me 50,000 of your english pounds first I will then be able to send you these by special delivery, thank you please'

Of course.

They'll act when it suits them.

Someone like Usmanov won't work to anyone else's agenda or timetable besides his own mate.

Said since day one that I believed he'd eventually be fully on board, but with the caveat of Moshiri laying all the ground work - especially in regards to having the dockside stadium signed and sealed. He won't want just any club, he will want one that is in a situation that his money can make them the very top, for us every bit of the infrastructure that is overhauled and brought up to speed moves that day closer.

This.
After listening that podcast it's like 'yes now it all makes sense'.

..I thought the podcast was essential listening to Evertonians. Whilst it didn't definitively answer the big question (is Usmanov centrally involved in EFC), there was consensus that the takeover is very positive. The other point worth us all taking on board is that 'changes will not necessarily happen quickly'. Under Fair Play rules the take over guidelines and restrictions on spend etc mean things have to be done right and this owner 'will do things right'.

This 100%. I think Moshiri grasps this as well and why we are seeing targeted spending on areas of the business that can subsequently generate more money. The Academy is being further bulked up, the process of recruitment, commercial activities and the ground.

As I indicated previously, Usmanov cannot just give us 500 million if he wanted too. He could give us sponsorship and open doors, which he can currently do in his post now.

I believe they want to create at Arsenal of the North and believe they have the capabilities and money to do it. We also know that we have the history and fanbase to match it.

We really should open up an Everton University, the amount of aftertiming Financial Experts on here could fund the stadium about six times over.
