Wonder how long this one will run for, the original was 3 odd hours wasn't it. Looks brilliant though

They're gonna split it into two movies I believe; one with them as children, the other when they're adults - whilst I do sometimes find it annoying they do this since the book is over 1000 pages long, I think 2 films makes sense...

This one (especially since the new director came on board) seems to be more faithful to the book, so 2 films in my eyes is justified. Then the issue may be since I assume we'll see a heck of a lot of Pennywise in movie 1, it'll be much harder to make movie 2 just as scary..

Two films makes a lot of sense, rather than trying to cram it all into one and having to cut loads out

May I also say that I was pleasantly surprised by the Power Rangers film that came out earlier this year. Took my kid and ended up enjoying it as much as he did. And that's from someone who had zero interest in anything to do with the Power Rangers.

Hollywoods ran out of ideas, that's why they're Doing so many remakes or unnecessary sequels. That ghostbuster remake they did will haunt me for a good few years yet

I'm not hearing great thing about Alien sadly.

Standard story, standard scares.

Well, from the freaky Alien fanboys I follow on, the general consensus is a solid 7/10. Good, but could be better.

I will find out for myself on Thursday evening (NZST)!!!! Just over 48 hours to go for me!
