i thought the first half was absolutely terrible. all over the place, very poorly edited. felt like a bunch of trailers stuck together. once it actually became a cohesive narrative it wasnt so bad, and ending was fine

it wasn't fun at all, the attempts at humour felt forced and fell flat (didnt hear one laugh all film). it was all over the place tonally, plot, editing. probably a decent film in all the footage they shot, but they didnt put it out as one cohesive film.

Heard the same a few times. Shame.

He was only mildly amusing in the Office, due to the superb up and coming cast around him, who oddly enough aren't in this film !!!!

I'd rather stick needles into my eyes than watch this .

Loved The Office but not going near this, Gervais has pretty much turned into Brent. Embarrassing.

Not really been a good summer for films this year has it

Out on 23rd Sept.

Humanity has all but been wiped out by a fungal virus, turning most into Zombies, leaving a handful of survivors and a group of children who are immune to the virus.

Sounds like it should be rubbish, but the book is brilliant and if they stick to the book, it'll be a great film.

Glen Close and Paddy Consindine are very good actors, so I'm hopeful that this is going to be a very good film.
