Hope it's good. Can't tell if it's too cutesy, or if it will have a darker edge to it. Hopefully the latter.

Well it's a very well documented time in history, so they should be able to get details like that correct but yeah some people just want to pick at anything. Interesting character old Napoleon, did lots of good stuff, did lots of bad stuff, interesting to see how it's portrayed, and at what point in his life the movie ends, I don't imagine slowly dying of arsenic poisoning on a small island in isolation will make for a fitting finish!

He is remembered decently here where i am from (coastal Croatia).
French took this region in 1805 (after Austerlitz) from the Austrians and managed to build a lot of roads and introduced some progressive reforms aimed against aristocracy who basically owned everything.

But then Austrians came back after his Russian disaster in 1812 and reversed everything and turned the clock back. Vienna pretty much neglected everything in their empire (outside Austria itself) and only chance for ordinary person to advance in life was to either join the army or immigrate to America

My mate across the fence said to me earlier that Saturday has somehow been decreed "world Cinema day" or something similar and that Odeon Cinemas are offering seats for all or any films being shown for 4 quid.
I'm only passing on what he told me, so if it's incorrect I'll break into his house and drink all his Whiskey.
If it is true, book your seats now and watch whatever you didn't want to pay 15 nicker for, for 4.
