Watched it when it came out as I also play it - honestly very pleasantly surprised, great movie. You do need a bit of background DnD knowledge though, but I guess that's to be expected.

Ugh, I get it, people like it, there's hype. I'm just tired of it honestly - was fun and great when there was less of it, now that mass media has made it available it feels like there's a new SW thing every 5 days, be it movies or series or whatever, and they're mostly mediocre, but they sell because Star Wars.

They'd get more hype out of the general people if they stop for a quick minute with this relentless marketing campaign, tiresome. Same for Marvel/DC to be honest, it was great when there was a movie or two a year, not a phase with 17 movies, 32 series, a tie-in comic book and a tiktok animated short series.
