Gareth Barry was not a good player for Everton. The possessions where he gave away free kicks were terrifying. Never thought he got judged for that.

Interesting one that. I thought Barry personally played very well for us however after his first season I thought him being in the side also left us massively exposed as he was glacier slow.

I can understand what you are saying, for some people unless its an achievement by the first team on the pitch, it's not relevant. I think this feeling has been born out of years of only having U19, U23, U21 success and no first team success. Some fans have just switched off.

I would say that EITC does some great work and even RS people I know, have commented and said it puts their lot to shame
