I can understand what you are saying, for some people unless its an achievement by the first team on the pitch, it's not relevant. I think this feeling has been born out of years of only having U19, U23, U21 success and no first team success. Some fans have just switched off.

I would say that EITC does some great work and even RS people I know, have commented and said it puts their lot to shame

EITC do some excellent work and those who volunteer/work or participate in their events should be proud of their achievements but as I haven't contributed in any way towards this I don't see that just because I support the football club this should allow me on their bandwagon and give me any sense of achievement or personal pride.

I'm a supporter of a football club mate that's usually how it works.... People who support charities on the other hand usually contribute something.
