AJ ferguson ???

betraying my age here, think its fair to say that the prem has seen a lot more player trading happening, and more overseas players arrive.

Underrated meaning perhaps not capped - so here goes - some of these it was criminal they never got capped, particularly Howard, Johnny Morrissey, Snods and Mark Higgins

Andy Rankin

Ian Snodin
John Hurst
Mark Higgins
Paul Power

Mikel Arteta
Howard Kendall
Leon Osman
Johnny Morrissey

Adrian Heath
Duncan McKenzie

subs: Alan Whittle, Jimmy Husband, Roger Kenyon (made England bench), Mick Lyons, Andy King, Henry Newton, Joe Parkinson, Sandy Brown, Dennis Stevens

Colin Harvey only got 1 cap, Kevin Richardson was way past his best when he got capped, Gordon West only got 3 caps

Anichebe is the most overrated piece of lard i have ever seen.

By who exactly?

He was quality in Europe last season if you remember? He got into my team on those games, and the fact that lots of people have some sort of irrational hatred of him. He's not a world beater, but he's imo a good player to have in the squad and underrated by lots of people.

He's simply not good enough, his premier league record speaks for itself, Yes hes good in europe as a sub because they cant handle his strength but in the Premier League he has been completley found out.

27 appearances in the Prem last season and 1 goal against Wigan, 68 appearances in total with 10 goals, they arn't the stats of an underrated player.

He's lazy and his attitude is horrendous for a teenager at a Premier League club.

Yet he scored 4 goals in Europe despite being used mainly as a sub for the last 10 minutes or so. Looking at those stats I'd say he did bloody well.

Who says he 'walks on water'? I don't think he's ready to play week in week out yet, but under the right manager (Moyes), I only see him getting better and developing into such a player.

Really pisses me off people slagging off our players, sure there's one or two who I don't rate all that highly, but I still support them and want them to do well. I just can't understand some people's attitudes.
