Well he interviewed for West Ham, before bilic was appointed, so I guess he's open for offers, and that champions league isn't TOO important.

Gets away from a 2 team league, doesn't have to sell his best players every year, financially backed to build a team up rather than rebuild one and a chance to compete rather than to hope to.

Best manager we can realistically get.

His record over his career is very good. He has an energy and desire which would instantly connect with our fanbase.

Yeah, athletico have done fantastic to get to where they are and all credit to simeone for thst. But even then there is shady business there and it isn't a rags to riches story

But yeah, even taking them away barca and real are dominating in thst league, if you aren't their manager then it's hard to even get near them.

Compared to here which, this season has proven, it is possible to win the league, and be competitive with a bit of progress
