Russian forces now actively withdrawing from positions (N and NW) of Kyiv.

Moving back into Belarus where they are being loaded onto trains for onward shipment (probably to Donbas and the south).

Looks like a major re-positioning of forces under the guise of peace talks/ceasefire.

I hope Ukraine realises this and mallets the crap out of the Russian convoys heading north.
No thanks…

And re-intensifies the conflict? Let's hope not.

I think the complete opposite. If this is a move in line with what the peace talks have agreed today, I think it’s got to be constructively engaged with on that basis (that this is a move to build confidence in talks).

It might not be, but Ukraine attacking them as they withdrawn would almost certainly strip away a lot of the Western waverers and do nothing to build the global support they need.
The head of the Russian delegation said it certainly wasn’t a ceasefire

They’re not leaving Ukraine for good - they’re actually re-positioning their forces so they can fully take and control the entire Donbas and south Ukraine.

Then they’ll be free to kill, rape and loot that entire region to their hearts content.

If they do this Ukraine will lose Mariupol, Berdyansk, Melitopol and Kherson for good.

I mean would you trust the Russian Government? Personally I don’t believe a word they say.

Has an official ceasefire been agreed?

While I'm not openly advocating hitting the convoys for as @tsubaki mentions there must be a sign of faith, I do feel that Ukraine must monitor it carefully.

The Russians have already stated it's not a ceasefire and are only 'reducing' attacks near Kyiv, while the Donbas has not been mentioned.

If they do reposition troops towards the south, the Ukraine and NATO et al. need to decide if that's a suitable condition or compromise otherwise it's a bad play.

Right now, Russia's forces are stuck around parts of the country with depleted rations, air cover and morale; if they concentrate, they may be more effective.

Has an official ceasefire been agreed?
No. They're moving troops back (err... retreating) in 'good faith' from around Kyiv and 'reducing' action. But, that's not in the east and south of the country.

Once he captures Mariupol and consolidates Kherson and the Donbas then and only then will he look to negotiate a ceasefire. As that means he will be negotiating from a position of strength and will have achieved one of his primary goals (land bridge from Russia to Crimea).

No, but we don't know what has been said in negotiations. If the Russians have said in the talks what they've implied publicly (that the extent of their operation is to "liberate" the Donbas and then that is it, rather than to conquer the whole country) then we don't know whether Ukraine has agreed to proceed on that basis (of a contained war whilst negotiations continue rather than a fight for their existence).

This I do agree with. Will hw relinquish the nuclear facilities under Russian control though?
