We were just speaking with family in Czech and we had booked a cottage for a family gathering in the summer. Seems like most of the cottages have been commandeered to house refugees, which makes sense I suppose as they can easily house 20-30 people and the country has 2-300,000 at the moment.

I cant verify who is shooting who, but the video shows 3 POWs getting out of a van and somebody shooting them in the legs with a machine gun.

I hope that's not true as it would be the amongst the stupidest move possible, leading to Russia potentially escalating and also material to justify their warmongering whilst risking the support of NATO countries.
Whilst this has not been verified I assume and I can't believe it would be sanctioned by Ukraine government, they must show they are the humane force in this war and show they are treating Russian POWs with respect. Which to be fair everything I've seen up until now signals that they are.
However when these troops are killing and raping across your country I can't imagine how hard it would be to show restraint.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s what everybody is thinking, just like the comment that was made by a dumb gop senator a few weeks back, it’s wrong. It was a stupid comment then, it’s a stupid comment now. President Macron thought so too.
So [Poor language removed] stupid, especially taping it. There is war going, thousands of your own soldiers (and maybe you too) gonna end up captured by other side during course of the war. Its just gonna end up with reprisals, and no mercy shown.
From what i read, this videos is already circulating around heavily, Russians gonna see it too, no doubt POWs treatment gonna go worse with reprisals and counter-reprisals.
