Surely you'll agree if UK Storm shadows are landing on Russian soil that this will emboldened him and certainly up the ante in terms of what he sees as an appropriate response?

Am not taking about him triggering Article 5 but I personally think you'll see gorilla tactics from Russia increase to a level we've not seen.

I think that Putin (with support from China and Iran) is going to do whatever he can to destroy us from within without a direct confrontation with NATO. He has been doing so for years and MI5 had identified he was stepping things up.

Remember reading this when it came out.

Iran and China have got their own problems to worry about,if anything Russia and Putin have almost become a liability to both those countries.

Its massive game of chess at the minute and the game also includes what's going on in the mid east,not to mention Orange gob coming into office in the US.

Trump can't be Pro-isreal while Israel attacks a Russian strategic partner,all this guff Trump being able to stop the war in a day is a massive nonsense,He can't cozy up to both so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Copy the the Russians say we are rewriting are agreements as the are at war with us in a clandestine way.

It's done a pretty good job in hiding what's been going on in Ukraine from the public,but when foreign rockets start raining down on Russian soil you'd imagine it's pretty hard explain it away with the usual guff.

I kinda recall a Russian SU-27 engaging an RAF Rivet joint operating in international airspace over the Black Sea and sqwarking ADSB.

They locked on and released 2 missiles off the rails. Luckily both missiles failed (thank heavens for crap Russian tech).

That was an act of war. But we let it slide to avoid a wider conflict (but we never forgot). Hence the Stormshadows today.

The Chinese ship departed from the Russian port of Ust-Luga on Nov. 15th.

If this bulk carrier ship, with its cargo of iron ore is responsible why did it have deep sea cable cutting kit on board when departing on the 15th?

The US gave the go ahead for use of missiles inside Russia on Nov. 17th.

Cables reported as cut some time before it was reported on Nov. 18th.

Russia vowed a tangible response if missiles used on Nov. 18th.

It may turn out to be a false alarm but its path over the cables and switching its tracking signals off all looks very suspect.
