To get a negotiated settlement the Ukraine's have to change the law. That's why Zelensky doesn't want elections because an incoming parliament/president may want to change the law.

It's vastly different. That happened to the Russians and they learned from it...the Ukrainians perpetrated that type of attack and they forgot they could be hit with it themselves.

It's just indicative of the way things are going at the front for them.

That's been a right loss of life there. Possibly up to 40 or so. Absolutely reckless lack of planning by the Ukrainian hierarchy that's led to the needless slaughter of men at the front who;d done enough to warrant a medal...and then their own army brass get them killed.

Morale must be disintegrating.
