Not sure on that.
Just never gone deep throat on Ukraine because its trendy. Been sound reason political reason why its never been allowed near NATO membership and years of work to join EU and why west got Nuclear weapons off them ASAP. Nationalism and fascism runs deep and is entrenched in the state.
They may now have attentions concentrated elsewhere facing at Russian trenches, but i doubt very much they will come back all liberal and love thy neighbour types.
Of course there are those who want to modernize Ukraine, however be foolish to believe they are the only ones standing up to Putin. And when this is over they will all want their say what Ukraine becomes.

They're a cess pit of state.
