I think Steve has skin in the game and is genuine. Might not like what he says, but I don't think he is wumming. Russian Advocate Macca is a multi / WUM, and Davids is a WUM. I thought he was alright at first and trying to offer sensible balance, but nah.

So WUMing is just pointing out that the US is making fortunes out of this situation and my continued questions of why nobody in the west is remotely interested in any type of ceasefire?
Even Macron spoke of the dangers of painting Putin into a corner very early on in this and now Biden is talking about an "off ramp" for Russia. But probably they are also just WUMs. On with the slaughter...your kettle boiled yet?

Some serious escalation today, a dangerous game being played out in front of us all.

Most of us have no real clue on the geo politics involved, only the stuff we are fed, be it from the Beeb or some Twitterati/Telegram citizen journo with an allegiance to one side or another.

Propaganda on both sides is in full flow, how do you really fact check anything with 100% certainty?

Does this article from BBC from 2014 still hold any truth in it some 8 years later, or has the extreme element been weeded out?

I genuinely dont know but people who live and breathe it, surely have some Creedence in their assertions, like bluestevon, who in my opinion, doesnt seem to be in any way an apologist!

I find the while geo politics system a fascinating subject and I'm happy to be called out if I'm way off, I would rather engage in sensible discussion than throwing insults around when there are important issues to be discussed.

What is apparent is how awful the whole situation is and only getting worse.

I dont see an end any time soon, not a good one anyway.

You have to have outright despair and sympathy for whoever is on the receiving end of such aggression.
