That's him stating it's unequal in the sense of the continuation of the species, not that non-straight people should be denied equal rights. His words not mine and he's struggling if that's his only rejoinder.

I've already stated numerous times that Galloway is kow-towing to the religious beliefs of many of his constituents AND that his party have dodgy views on gender identity.

They are far from perfect, and that's something I've said many times also. Overall though they aren't pro-genocide, they're not pro-business, they're not anti-worker.

And that places them way above other parties - including Starmer's right wing party who have stood by and watched 36,000 people murdered in Gaza with virtually no meaningful attempt to protest against it like calling for boycotts and arms deals ending, backed up an apartheid state in Tel Aviv, prostrated themselves to corporate Britain, and will carry on the austerity of the official Tory Party into government.

I look forward to the next 12 months or so when a new social democratic party of the left is formed so that I'll have a political home again.
You’re all over the place Dave to be honest…. Maybe just sit and back and watch the next 4 weeks with interest …. Come back and comment at a later date…. This is no good for your long term health x

Is there a hierarchy of hate? Is it better to be homophobic than to be racist?

Asking for a boyfriend.

(Like many, many other LGBT people, I've spent a lifetime experriencing abuse of one sort or another. It can be very low level stuff like The Lisbon "jokess" or it can be full scale physical stuff. 24% of homeless youth are out LGBT kids; 27% of young people who self harm are LGBT.

Dave, he isn’t left wing, he just cosplays as a socialist when he’s actually a homophobic, transphobic misogynistic bigot.

He’s not Jeremy Corbyn, and he doesn’t deserve your respect.

I don't respect him and he won't be getting my vote once a new social democratic party of the left is formed in the next few months / years.

The laughing from Sunak afterwards is a disgrace

Look at him laughing at the gammons crappy comment on GPs, utter rats

Yeah that was my immediate thought, he really showed who he is there - immature, bigoted, classless and spineless.

"My mum was a pharmacist, my dad was a GP..."

Right... so how did you end up such a shitehawk then?

The Tory Party’s record in government is abysmal in terms of delivery, policy and integrity, they have nothing to point to in 14 years of power that would win them seats. Sunak does refer to his time as Chancellor during Covid but can’t put it front and centre of his campaign as Track and Trace, PPI payments won’t stand up to scrutiny. Therefore they have to rely on a lie, Labour’s taxing plans, and why shouldn’t they, Brexit was sealed by a lie on the side of a bus.
What interests me over the coming weeks and the results is how many English voters are prepared to give the Tories a vote based on another lie and particularly a lie about something that hasn’t happened yet. I am not a fan of the “first past the post electoral system “ but if perpetually lying can win you more than 100 seats then surely it shows the system needs reforming.

It is the complete lack of recognition that people would think positively of them if they did positive things for them that baffles me. If they'd done two things for example that were in the 2019 manifesto - build new hospitals and reunify the railway under GBR - they'd have gotten support from the people affected. They had a golden opportunity to create GBR during covid, but couldn't be arsed.

In terms of the system, whilst people vote for parties rather than individual representatives that sort of reflex vote will always happen - in fact with pretty much any system of PR it would be entrenched. If I could change one thing about our elections it would be to take the party names off the ballot.
