Thought he did well in the time he had. Also think theres a lot more in this lad to come but obviously needs the minutes.

….there are the normal lazy shouts of Moyes won’t play him because he doesn’t work hard. I guarantee any Manager this young man plays for will demand industry, it’s part of the modern game and George will be fully aware of that. I also read a comment that Moyes doesn’t like flair players, yet he selects Ndiaye and Grealish every week when they’re available.

Get those two myths out of the way. Moyes likes flair and loves creativity, have no doubt about that.

The more significant aspect here is looking after possession, Iroegbunam said what annoys Moyes most is being wasteful with the ball. For me, George has a little bit of Demarai Gray about him in that he can be a little complicated. I said ‘a little’ because I think he can be capable of the odd stupid thing. Moyes will be keen for him to try and create in much the same was as Grealish and Ndiaye take chances but he won’t want him to be frustratingly foolhardy.

The other thing he’ll want is for him to ‘join in’ deeper and centrally like McNeil does. What he brings to the table,though, is much greater threat in the top third. The fact Garner and KDH were keen to give him the ball yesterday is a sign they rate his ability. I love the way he strikes a football, I call it ‘hitting a heavy ball’, he’ll score goals because the keeper can’t keep out the pace of the shot.

We could have a proper player, I suspect we’ll see more of him in these final games but he won’t be the rounded article just yet.

Yet a 17 year old gets a start with the other lot ... George did more in 15 minutes to show he has the ability ...

No chance he starts. It'll be Mcneil starting and George coming on if the game needs changing. It'll be Mcneil to help defensively Jake to try and nullify the threat of that little Rio kid.

Iliman does a better job of that than McNeil imo

ndiaye makes more tackles and interceptions easily as McNeil is so slow.

for the derby, perhaps moyes shd play McNeil as a 10. George and ndiaye on the wings.

This place in the last 24hrs has been a joke, like we just took a 5-0 hammering (Obviously only the same posters as always, but god do they take up alot of room on here )

We got to see a tasty runout from George so you should be a bit more happy mate..

There’s an interesting bit in the Athletic on George , obviously can’t post it but here’s a snippet . It starts with Tarks giving him a pointed “ your man” look for failing to track their player who’s shot led to the 2nd goal. It’s defenders and other players who expect it not just managers :
