Why doesn't it? Excuse me if I'm being a bit dimThat may be true - but on that logic it makes no difference if it was an option or obligation to buy.

Because on the previous logic, if we have an agreement with Chelsea and are obliged to buy George. We can ultimately not force him to sign an employment contract if he doesn't want to. Therefore it would make no difference if we had an option or obligation if we are saying it depends on George's feelings. IMO we have already done the convincing to get him to come on loan here for the 2nd half of the season and he would be aware of the option to buy in the deal. If he becomes good, then I think it is an easy deal and personal terms will be no issue. Why doesn't it? Excuse me if I'm being a bit dim
The option or obligation is on the club. Just gives us more power in getting first refusal to offer him a contract if we wanted and I’m assuming stops Chelsea accepting other offers until after a certain deadline. That may be true - but on that logic it makes no difference if it was an option or obligation to buy.
Get ya. But, if we had an obligation, then if he didn't wanna play or was unhappy, then maybe he'd express this behind close doors and look for a loan? Then come the next window, we'd sell. But I fully understand and agree with youBecause on the previous logic, if we have an agreement with Chelsea and are obliged to buy George. And he’s never even been to the stadium yet - when he’s on that coach next Tuesday and sees it looming up in the distance like the great pyramid of Giza, he’ll be all in!After sticking our top on, he wont be saying no..
YesCan we have both?
Bravo!!!At the moment, he comes and goes a bit too much during matches.
