2025/26 Tyler Dibling

I watched him closely tonight and thought he did really well.

Loads of clever little touches, body shifts etc. Linked well with other players and definitely showed more of a willingness to take players on.

That’s why Moyes handling of him & all our young players not been great imo.

Should have been afforded more minutes then he’s had this season.

Positive signs though…
Moyes is handling him well. Working on his game so he is ready to step up when we need him which he has.

…..little things like seeing him celebrating that 2nd goal makes him look like he’s settled and feeling part of it.

I honestly thought Moyes might take him off with Patterson looking so exposed but delighted he worked around that with Rohl’s versatility.

He’s a ball watcher but his teammates and coaches will demand more from that respect and he will improve.

With a few positive signs from Barry, it might not have been that bad of a summer window after all :coffee:

Moyes having a good chat with him walking off. Moyes will be happy that he got through 95 minutes as well and got stronger the game went on.

Physically looked well off it, but I think that's down to confidence. Great to see him grow into the game the longer it went on. Some decent touches and hopefully more to come.

I know you could say Moyes has dented his confidence, but if this is what we've had in training then the manager was absolutely right to not be throwing him in from the start.

I think he’s being managed really well, personally.
Me too
I don’t see how people can blame him not getting many minutes when our best attacker plays in his position and he’s the kind of lad who grows into a game so hasn’t looked great off the bench

In time we’ll have all three of Grealish Ndiaye and Dibling together linking up with Garner and KDH behind and we will be a really classy outfit
