2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Think he will definitely be given more chances based on the last two performances. He’s merited that. Do think when every one is fit and back he’d likely come off the bench, but it’s a squad game and there’s always opportunity.

Still some issues with ball watching and letting his opposite number run off him, but he’s young and the experience of the last couple games will only help him get better.

Eventually will end up as a ten for me. Some good work without the ball too - which can’t be understated.

I thought he wss impressive, only his second full game of the season after hardly getting a kick, he is a extremely gifted 19 year old who has struggled to get into the team of a manger who doesn't tend to trust young players.

A lot of his skillset reminds me of a young jack grealish, I think his ability on the ball, ability to take on a man, and his actual physical strength against grocks are all good sides.

Can he get better? Well obviously, he's 19 and barely started games, he wouldn't be playing for Everton right now if he didn't have big improvements to make.

But instead of focusing on what he can't do (which is a huge problem within the Everton fanbase going back years) let's focus on the very very bright signs of a young lad who is going to be our future.

If you think David Moyes won't be working on the other sides of his game then I don't know what to tell you, he did try to track back and he did get up and down all game but he does have to conserve energy because that's a lot of graft for anyone to put in never mind a 19 year old whose barely kicked a ball.

Keep him in the team, let him develop, get him minutes.

Good or bad performances in isolation,he will develop and he a talent for us.

I think his confidence will be a lot higher than it has been.

Good lad.

He's slotted in much much faster than I expected given how little game time he's had.

His technique is obviously fantastic but I'm most impressed with his awareness of the game around him - knowing where he can take a touch to get into space, and of course that dummy. That's the sort of thing that can make him elite. So good to watch too

….point I made earlier about him being a very powerful young man. Blokes like him you play against and bounce off because of their natural strength, I reckon he’s also quite tall.

Very much like Grealish, he plays ‘cat and mouse’ with his full back. I think it’s a nonsense when posters say he plays it back or inside because Moyes tells him to, he’ll have always done that, it’s all part of the game to leave the defender guessing what he’s doing next. He’ll pick his moments to go past his opponent, he’s just not a Dave Thomas type.

Are many players ripping the prem up bar your generational talents? Genuine question

A think because what we paid we expect instant but he is only 19
It's not that we bought him. It's that we bought him when we had gaping holes all over the pitch and a limited budget with which to fill them. If we were going to spend such a large proportion of our summer on him, he has to play more.

Last night was very encouraging. Loads of talent - a proper footballer. Up to him now how quickly he can break into the side.
